This page explains where Promy uses AI and where humans still make the final call.
How We Use AI
Promy uses AI in a limited number of places, mainly for support, moderation help, and recommendations.
We do not treat AI as a replacement for human review on important account or enforcement decisions.
Where We Use AI
These are the main areas where AI may be used:
Content Moderation
AI may flag server descriptions, partnership requests, or other content that looks like it could break the rules.
Recommendation System
AI may suggest servers, partnerships, or other recommendations based on activity across the Promy network.
Analytics Insights
AI may summarize analytics data and surface patterns that could help server owners understand what is working.
Support and Human Review
AI support is meant to speed up simple questions, not handle every case on its own.
How It Works
- AI can read your question and suggest a likely answer
- It can help with common setup, dashboard, analytics, and partnership questions
- Complex or sensitive issues are automatically escalated to human support staff
- You can ask for a human at any time
Data Processing
- Support conversations may be processed by AI so it can understand the question and reply
- We try to limit personal data and avoid using private information when it is not needed
- Conversation data is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your issue
- All data processing complies with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws

Support AI is monitored by humans, and sensitive issues are routed to human staff.

Content Moderation

- AI may scan server descriptions, advertisements, and listings for possible rule violations

- Server owners may be asked to edit content that does not meet policy requirements
Appeal Process
- All moderation decisions influenced by AI can be appealed and reviewed by human staff

Important Notice
AI moderation is a helper tool. Human staff make the final decision on removals, restrictions, and enforcement.
Data Usage and Training
We want to be clear about what AI-related data use can and cannot include.
What We Do

What We Don't Do

- We do not sell or monetize AI-generated insights about individual users
- We do not use AI to automatically accept or deny partnership requests
Your Rights and Choices
You can still ask for human help or question AI-influenced results.
Opting Out
- You can request human-only support by asking to speak with a support agent
- Server owners can opt out of AI-powered analytics recommendations and partnership suggestions where those settings are available
- You can request that your data not be used to improve AI systems (subject to our data retention policies)
Access and Correction
- You can request information about how AI has processed your data
- You can correct inaccurate information that may affect AI recommendations
- You can review available logs and records for AI-influenced actions where Promy provides them
- You can request deletion of data processed by AI systems, subject to legal retention requirements
Complaints
- If you believe an AI system has made an error, you can file a complaint through our support server
- All complaints are reviewed by human staff within 48 hours
- We can explain AI-influenced decisions when enough detail is available
Third-Party AI Services
Promy may use third-party AI services to power certain features. When we do:
- We carefully vet all third-party providers for privacy and security standards
- We ensure data processing agreements are in place to protect your information
- We limit the data shared with third parties to only what's necessary for the service
- We maintain oversight and control over how third-party AI systems interact with user data

Limitations and Disclaimers
While we strive for accuracy, it's important to understand the limitations of AI:

- Analytics summaries should be used as guidance alongside your own judgment
- We continuously work to improve accuracy but cannot guarantee 100% correctness
Not a Replacement
- AI support is designed to complement, not replace, human support
- Complex issues with setup, partnerships, moderation, or account settings still require human judgment
- Critical decisions affecting your account are always made by humans
- Server owners still control their own configuration and partnership decisions
Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly use AI on data from children under the minimum age allowed by Discord or local law.
- AI-powered features that may interact with minors use extra safety checks where possible
- Content moderation tools may be used to reduce exposure to inappropriate material
- We comply with COPPA and other applicable laws regarding children's online privacy
Changes to AI Systems
We may change how AI is used over time. If the change is important, we will update this page.
