Emergency & Safety Concerns

If you encounter content involving immediate danger, illegal activity, child safety, self-harm, or threats of violence, please report it immediately through our support server with an "Urgent" ticket. We prioritize safety-related reports and will take immediate action.

1 What Can Be Reported

You can report various types of violations and inappropriate behavior on the Promy network. We take all reports seriously and investigate each case thoroughly.

Prohibited Content

NSFW material, hate speech, illegal content, harassment, discrimination, phishing attempts, scams, or misleading advertisements.

Server Violations

Servers that violate Discord's ToS, promote illegal activities, contain harmful content, or misrepresent their purpose in advertisements.

Bot Abuse

Spam, command abuse, exploitation attempts, circumventing cooldowns, rate limit manipulation, or multi-account abuse.

User Misconduct

Harassment, impersonation, threats, abusive behavior, false information, or attempts to game the advertising network.

Inappropriate Images

Server banners, avatars, or custom images containing NSFW content, offensive material, copyright infringement, or misleading graphics.

Review Abuse

Fake reviews, review manipulation, offensive review content, paid reviews, or review spam targeting specific servers.

Fraudulent purchases, unauthorized charges, chargeback abuse, account sharing, or reselling Promy Plus features.

2 How to Submit a Report

We offer multiple ways to report violations and abuse. Choose the method that best suits your situation:

3 Information to Include

To help us investigate your report effectively, please provide as much detail as possible:

  • Type of Violation: Clearly state what rule or guideline was violated (e.g., NSFW content, spam, harassment)
  • Target Information: Provide server ID, server name, user ID, username, or Discord tag of the violator
  • Evidence: Include screenshots, message links, timestamps, or other proof of the violation
  • Context: Describe what happened, when it occurred, and any relevant background information
  • Impact: Explain how this violation affected you or others in the network
  • Contact Info: Provide your Discord username and ensure your DMs are open for follow-up questions

Tips for Effective Reports

Be specific and factual. Avoid emotional language or personal attacks. Focus on the violation itself and provide clear, verifiable evidence. The more information you provide, the faster we can take action.

4 What Happens After Reporting

Once you submit a report, our moderation team follows a thorough investigation and resolution process:

Your report is logged in our moderation system and assigned to a staff member for review. You'll receive confirmation that we've received your report.

Investigation

Our team reviews the evidence, checks server/user history, verifies the violation, and gathers additional context if needed. This typically takes 24-72 hours.

Decision & Action

Based on severity and evidence, we take appropriate action: warning, content removal, temporary suspension, permanent blacklist, or escalation to Discord Trust & Safety.

Resolution

You'll receive a notification confirming we've reviewed your report and taken action. Due to privacy, we cannot disclose specific penalties imposed.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your report is confidential. We do not share reporter identities with the reported party. All investigations are conducted privately, and only authorized staff members have access to report details.

5 Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations receive an official warning with guidance on policy compliance
  • Content Removal: Inappropriate advertisements, images, or reviews are removed from the network
  • Feature Restriction: Temporary or permanent loss of certain bot features (bumps, reviews, custom images)
  • Temporary Suspension: 7-30 day suspension from the Promy network with loss of access
  • Permanent Blacklist: Complete ban from Promy services with no appeal eligibility
  • Promy Plus Revocation: Immediate cancellation of Promy Plus with no refund for ToS violations
  • Network-Wide Alert: Other servers in the network may be notified of serious violators
  • Discord Report: Severe violations involving illegal content, abuse, or safety concerns reported to Discord Trust & Safety
  • Legal Action: In cases involving illegal activity, harassment, or threats, we may pursue legal remedies

Repeat Violations

Users or servers with multiple violations will face escalating consequences. Three warnings result in temporary suspension. Violations during suspension lead to permanent blacklist.

6 Appeals Process

If you believe your account or server was unfairly sanctioned, you may submit an appeal:

  • Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the enforcement action
  • Open a support ticket clearly marked "Appeal" with your case details
  • Provide evidence supporting your claim of unfair treatment
  • Remain respectful and professional throughout the appeal process
  • Appeals are reviewed by senior staff members not involved in the original decision
  • Appeal decisions are final and cannot be re-appealed
  • Permanent blacklists for severe violations are not eligible for appeal

Appeal Timeline

Appeals are typically reviewed within 5-7 business days. Complex cases may take longer. You'll receive a response via DM or ticket with our final decision.

7 False Reporting

We take false reporting seriously as it wastes moderation resources and can harm innocent users. Submitting knowingly false reports is a violation of our Terms of Service.

Consequences of False Reports

Users who repeatedly submit false, malicious, or spam reports may face warnings, feature restrictions, or permanent blacklist from the Promy network. We investigate patterns of abuse and take action against bad-faith reporting.

  • Always ensure your reports are factual and based on real violations
  • Do not submit reports out of personal disputes or revenge
  • Avoid mass-reporting the same server or user without new evidence
  • Do not encourage others to file false reports on your behalf
  • Be honest and transparent in all communications with moderators

8 Reporting Best Practices

Follow these guidelines to ensure your reports are handled quickly and effectively:

  • Act Promptly: Report violations as soon as you encounter them while evidence is fresh
  • One Report Per Issue: Don't submit multiple reports for the same violation unless new evidence emerges
  • Use Proper Channels: Submit reports through official channels only (tickets, support server, dashboard)
  • Be Objective: Stick to facts and avoid emotional language or personal attacks
  • Respect Privacy: Don't publicly share details of your report or the reported party
  • Follow Up Appropriately: If you have additional evidence, update your ticket rather than creating a new one
  • Trust the Process: Allow our team time to investigate thoroughly before requesting updates
  • Don't Retaliate: Never engage in harassment or revenge against reported parties

9 Protecting Yourself

While we work to maintain a safe environment, you can also take steps to protect yourself on the Promy network:

  • Block users who harass or spam you using Discord's built-in blocking features
  • Leave servers immediately if you encounter illegal or harmful content
  • Never share personal information with untrusted servers or users
  • Be cautious of servers requesting payment, donations, or financial information
  • Verify server legitimacy before joining, especially for partnerships or collaborations
  • Report suspicious activity early before it escalates
  • Keep your DMs closed or filtered to prevent unwanted contact
  • Use Discord's privacy settings to control who can add you to servers

10 Legal Compliance

Promy complies with all applicable laws and cooperates with law enforcement when necessary:

  • Reports involving child safety are immediately escalated to Discord Trust & Safety and authorities
  • Illegal content (drugs, weapons, terrorism, fraud) is reported to appropriate agencies
  • We preserve evidence and logs for law enforcement investigations when legally required
  • User data may be disclosed to authorities with valid legal requests (warrants, subpoenas)
  • We comply with DMCA takedown requests for copyright infringement
  • Violations of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA) are taken seriously and addressed promptly

Criminal Activity

If you witness criminal activity, threats of violence, or content that poses immediate danger, report it to local law enforcement immediately. Then notify our team so we can assist authorities and remove the content.
