These guidelines help ensure Promy remains a positive, fair, and safe platform for all participating servers and users. By using Promy, you agree to follow these community standards and help us maintain a healthy advertising network.
Our mission is to connect communities and help them grow while maintaining trust, respect, and authenticity throughout the network.
Respect and Safety
Promy is committed to creating a safe environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for behavior that harms, harasses, or endangers others.
Treat all users, servers, and staff with respect. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited.
Do not share content that promotes violence, self-harm, dangerous activities, or could cause harm to individuals or communities.
Never share personal information about others without their consent. Respect privacy and do not engage in doxxing or stalking behavior.
Promy is used by servers with diverse audiences. All advertisements must be appropriate for users aged 13+ per Discord's Terms of Service.
Examples of Violations
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or any protected characteristic
- Threats, harassment, or intimidation of users or communities
- Sharing personal information without consent (doxxing)
- Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities
- NSFW content or adult material in advertisements
Honest Advertising
Authenticity and honesty are crucial for a trusted advertising network. All advertisements must accurately represent your server or community.
Server advertisements must truthfully represent your community. Don't make false claims about features, size, activity, or offerings.
Avoid clickbait, misleading thumbnails, or deceptive descriptions designed to trick users into joining under false pretenses.
Accurately categorize your server. Don't misrepresent the type, purpose, or focus of your community.
Use images, banners, and descriptions you have rights to use. Don't steal branding or content from other communities.
- Claiming to have thousands of active members when the server is small or inactive
- Advertising giveaways or prizes that don't exist
- Using another server's banner or logo without permission
- Describing your server as something it's not to attract more joins
- Promising features or benefits that aren't actually available
Fair Use of the Network
Promy operates on a fair exchange model. All users must participate honestly and respect the system's integrity.
Don't spam the network, abuse bot commands, or attempt to manipulate the system for unfair advantage. Respect cooldowns and rate limits.
Only bump legitimate servers you operate or have permission to promote. Don't create fake servers to game the system.
Your bump channel must remain visible to @everyone as agreed. Hiding it or restricting access violates the fair exchange principle.
Don't use unauthorized bots, scripts, or automation to manipulate bumps, reviews, or other Promy features.
Examples of Violations
- Creating multiple servers just to bump the same community repeatedly
- Using alternate accounts to bypass cooldowns
- Hiding your bump channel after receiving advertisements
- Automated scripts that bypass rate limits or cooldowns
- Coordinating with others to manipulate review systems
Prohibited Content
Certain types of content and communities are not permitted on the Promy network to ensure safety and legal compliance.
Servers promoting, facilitating, or discussing illegal activities, including piracy, drug sales, or other criminal activity, are strictly prohibited.
NSFW servers, adult content, or sexually explicit material cannot be advertised through Promy, regardless of age verification.
Servers designed to scam users, conduct fraudulent activities, or operate pyramid schemes are permanently banned.
Communities built around hatred, extremism, radicalization, or harassment of specific groups are not allowed.
Servers that distribute malware, viruses, or attempt to compromise user security are immediately blacklisted.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Violations of these prohibited content rules result in immediate and permanent blacklisting from the Promy network without warning. We may also report severe violations to Discord Trust & Safety.
Reviews and Reputation
Our review system helps users discover quality communities. Reviews must be honest, constructive, and follow these guidelines.
Reviews should reflect genuine experiences. Don't leave fake reviews or coordinate review manipulation.
Criticism should be constructive and factual. Don't use reviews to harass, defame, or attack servers.
Don't exchange reviews or offer incentives for positive reviews. Let reviews be organic and authentic.
Each user can leave one review per server. Don't create alternate accounts to leave multiple reviews.
Writing Good Reviews
Great reviews are specific, balanced, and helpful to other users. Mention what you liked, areas for improvement, and who the server is best suited for. Focus on facts rather than emotions.
Bot Interaction
Proper use of Promy's commands and features ensures the best experience for everyone.
Don't spam commands or flood channels with bot interactions. Use commands only as intended.
Cooldowns exist to keep the network fair. Don't try to circumvent them through technical means or multiple accounts.
If you find bugs or issues, report them through proper channels rather than exploiting them for advantage.
Don't attempt to hack, decompile, or reverse engineer the bot. Report vulnerabilities responsibly.
Enforcement and Moderation
Our moderation team works to maintain a healthy network. Here's how we handle violations:
First Warning
Minor violations receive a warning with explanation. Users are expected to comply immediately.
Temporary Suspension
Repeated violations or moderate offenses result in temporary suspension from the network (7-30 days).
Permanent Blacklist
Severe violations, illegal content, or persistent rule-breaking leads to permanent removal from Promy.
Discord Reporting
Serious violations involving illegal activity, abuse, or safety concerns are reported to Discord Trust & Safety.
Appeals Process
If you believe you were unfairly sanctioned, you may appeal through our ticket system at ticket. Provide evidence and a clear explanation. Appeals are reviewed within 3-5 business days. Note that certain violations (illegal content, malicious behavior) are not eligible for appeal.
Moderation Discretion
Promy staff have final discretion in interpreting and enforcing these guidelines. We consider context, severity, intent, and history when making moderation decisions. Our goal is always to maintain a safe, fair network for all users.
Positive Community Behavior
Beyond following rules, we encourage these positive behaviors to make Promy better for everyone:
Visit servers you discover through Promy with an open mind. Give new communities a fair chance.
When leaving reviews or feedback, be constructive and helpful. Help others improve their communities.
Users who join your server through Promy are potential long-term members. Make them feel welcome.
If you see content that violates these guidelines, report it through proper channels to help keep the network safe.
Help newer users understand how Promy works. Share tips and best practices in community support channels.

Emergency Situations
